Harmonizing with Crystal Singing Bowls

Crystal singing bowls are natural tools to ground, heal and expand our consciousness. The bowls are made of silica sand which is pure quartz in nature. Silica, a combination of silicon (Si) and oxygen (O2), is the most abundant compound in the earth's crust, where it makes up 59% of the total composition.

Our bodies, on the other hand, are composed of 70% water. So the effect the crystal singing bowls can have on our bodies is dramatic.

“Sound travels five times faster in water than in air, so that the stimulation in the body by the sound frequency is an effective way of corporal activation especially at a cellular level,” says Dr. Jeffrey Thompson, director of the center of Neuro-acoustic Investigations in the Institute for Human Sciences in California.

The bowl represents the container which symbolizes the female, and the mallets used to play them, represent the masculine with their elongated form. Combined, they release a creative force which expands consciousness and directs positive intentions.

Sound therapy harmonizes space, stimulates neurons to connect, increasing our brain capacity and the development of consciousness and balances our chakras.

Our energetic centers, also known as chakras, are activated by vibrational healing that comes from the sound of the crystal bowls. Disturbance or blockages in these centers create illness and store memory traumas from dense emotional relationships in the past or previous lives. These are also gateways to communicating with other dimensions especially our higher self.

As mediators or distributors of external energies with the physical, mental and emotional body and their respective organs, glands and systems, the chakras are identified with seven multidimensional energy centers in our physical body.

They aid in absorbing the energy from the food we eat and the air we breathe and circulate it around the body creating our own unique field of energy.

The notes C, D, E, F, G, A, B and the natural rhythms they create correspond with human energy centers or chakras, reverberating with the aura and imbuing the body with vibration so that you can  reclaim balance where it is needed.

“People have said Jackson is the heart chakra of the Earth,” says Daniela Botur, Soul Ranch’s crystal sound bowl practitioner. “Its nature is an entry into spirituality.”

Daniela has been leading singing bowl ceremonies and women’s circles for more than 20 years. Here’s what people say about Daniela:

~Daniela is the embodiment of the divine feminine

~an extraordinary example of grace, faith, and intention.

~The ripple of her singing bowls–itself a sound wave–is immense and beautiful.
